The Asian Championship will run until February 14 and includes several key events such as the 25m sport pistol, 10m air rifle, and mixed team competitions. Vietnam’s shooters are expected to continue challenging for medals in these categories. Thu Vinh and Thuy Trang will compete in additional women’s pistol events, while Quang Huy remains a strong medal hope in the mixed team discipline, where he previously enjoyed continental success.
The early silver medal has provided both confidence and momentum for the Vietnamese squad. With several days of competition remaining, the team aims to build on this promising start and add more podium finishes, reaffirming Vietnam’s growing stature in Asian shooting sports.
