Specifically, in the task of developing projects and legal documents, the Center has been assigned by the Authority to draft 2 Circulars. Among them, Circular No. 01/2024/TT-BVHTTDL dated May 17, 2024, of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on regulations for doping prevention in sports activities has been signed and issued by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Circular on regulations for economic-technical norms for providing doping prevention services in sports activities (currently under development).
Regarding professional work, the education and communication activities on doping prevention in sports have been effectively implemented by the Center. Accordingly, the Center has worked with the Sports Universities of Bac Ninh, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City to incorporate anti-Doping content into the curriculum at these universities; signed a cooperation agreement with Foreign Trade University to coordinate the dispatch of volunteers in anti-Doping education and communication activities; organized training sessions for 20 participants from various localities in anti-Doping education and communication; held training classes at 4 National Sports Training Centers; provided knowledge training for several Federations such as Weightlifting, Bodybuilding, Aquatics, and Boxing in Vietnam; and organized anti-Doping education and communication activities directly at 18 professional sports tournaments.
In addition, the Center also completed doping sample collection and many related activities. Especially, doping tests have been conducted for athletes participating in the Olympics Paris 2024. International cooperation work was also implemented by the Center when conducting exchanges and cooperation with the anti-Doping organization of China; Participating in the anti-Doping conference in South Korea; attending the 19th Asia-Pacific region Intergovernmental ministerial meeting; participating in numerous international workshops on anti-Doping at the national, regional, continental, and global levels...
Sharing about the achieved results, Director of the Doping and Sports Medicine Center, Le Minh Ha, stated: In 2024, despite facing certain difficulties and challenges with the assigned tasks, the collective of officials, staff, and workers of the Center have demonstrated a spirit of solidarity and made every effort to complete the assigned tasks.

Determined to effectively implement the key objectives and tasks for 2025
On the foundation of the achievements already attained, in 2025, closely following the sports field's plan and the directives of the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and the leaders of the Sports Authority, the collective of officials, employees, and workers at the Center will continue to unite and overcome difficulties to complete the assigned tasks.
Accordingly, the education, propaganda, and training work for officials, athletes, coaches, collaborators, and volunteers on doping prevention and control continues to be implemented uniformly. Coordinate with 4 National Sports Training Centers and Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports on educating and promoting the role of anti-Doping efforts; organize nationwide training for collaborators, knowledge training for national sports federations, and for departments of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; conduct anti-Doping communication directly at 25 sports competitions organized by federations; guide athletes and their supporters to participate in courses and certification tests on the ADEL system.
Continue to collect doping test samples from athletes before, during, and after competitions at major events such as the 33rd SEA Games, Asian Youth Games, World Championships, etc., as required by the Olympic Committee, international sports federations, and the International Paralympic Committee.
Overview of the Conference
Director of the Center for Doping and Sports Medicine, Lê Minh Hà, emphasized: The main domestic task in 2025 is to organize two training courses on doping prevention for sports management officials in Huế and for a nationwide scale of collaborators on doping prevention education and communication in Đà Nẵng. The Center hopes to receive written approval from the Sports Authority to establish a collaboration plan with local units during the organization of these training classes.
In addition, in 2025, the Center will also develop educational software for doping prevention. Implement the renewal of the digital communication program, reaching all athletes from training centers in major provinces and cities, national team athletes at all levels; organize "healthy sports" education programs in schools. Continue to strengthen international relations work...
On behalf of all the officials and workers of the Center, Director Lê Minh Hà expressed the desire that in 2025, to serve the implementation of tasks, the Center hopes that the Sports Authority will propose to the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism a document directing localities to regularly and continuously carry out education and communication on anti-Doping at educational institutions and athlete training centers; instruct national sports federations and associations to mandatorily include anti-Doping tasks in their operational regulations...
The Sports Authority advises and presents to the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to sign a document requesting the Ministry of Education and Training to direct the incorporation of the content of educating clean sports values and the spirit of honest and noble sports into extracurricular sports activities at general education institutions...
Director Minh Hà also emphasized: For many years, the task of educating and communicating about anti-Doping has always been a top priority and extremely important. Especially in the coming time, the implementation of this work in high-risk sports needs to be further strengthened for a professional sports environment...
Speaking at the summary, Vice Chairwoman of the Sports Authority, Lê Thị Hoàng Yến, praised the results as well as empathized with the difficulties and challenges that the Center will have to overcome in the new year 2025.
According to Vice Chairwoman: The Strategy for the development of physical training and sports in Vietnam to 2030, with a vision to 2045, has been approved by the Prime Minister; in addition, the continued implementation of Politburo Resolution No.70 on the development of sports in the new period; Resolution No. 08 on enhancing the Party's leadership in sports, along with many documents, regulations, circulars, and decrees that have been and will be issued in the near future, presents many opportunities but also many challenges for the sports sector.
"With the Doping and Sports Medicine Center - the only unit in the industry for this specialized work, there will be a lot of tasks to accomplish and many challenges to overcome, but I believe that with unity and relentless effort, in the new year - 2025, the Center will continue to fulfill its assigned tasks."
Regarding the coordination work with federations, associations, and media coordination, according to Ms. Yen, this is not a difficult task. The leaders of the Sports Authority always listen to the unit's aspirations and are ready to provide full support to help the Center implement its plans.…
