The Vietnam finswimming team secured a total of twenty-one golds, fourteen silvers, and four bronzes, ranking first overall. The host team, Cambodia, finished second with two golds, seven silvers, six bronzes, while Indonesia placed third with two golds, three silvers, two bronzes.

On the final competition day, Vietnam athletes win six golds in the following events: men’s 50m apnea (Nguyen Thanh Loc – 14.35 seconds), women’s 50m apnea (Tran Thi Huyen Trang – 16.73 seconds), men’s 200m surface (Luu Nguyen Duc Tam – 1 minute 24.09 seconds), women’s 200m surface (Dang Thi Van – 1 minute 34.43 seconds), men’s 4x50m surface relay, and women’s 4x50m surface relay.
The success of the Vietnam finswimming team not only brings pride to the nation's sports community but also opens up many opportunities for young athletes in the future.
One of the standout moments of the tournament was the stellar performance of Vu Dang Nhat Nam. Nhat Nam won three golds in the 100m, 200m, and 400m men's double fins events, as well as one silver in the 50m men's double fins. For his outstanding performance, he was awarded the title of "Best Athlete of the Tournament" by the organizers.
