Players will be randomly tested for doping. In addition to doping tests, the VFF Medical Department will also conduct supplementary health checks through random selection or specific assignments for players, aiming to screen for risks of injuries, cardiovascular issues, or to detect abnormal indicators. The health check process will be conducted by doctors from the VFF Medical Department in coordination with team doctors to ensure a comprehensive understanding of players' health information, as well as the types of supplements and beverages being used.
According to the regulations on doping tests and additional health checks for players issued by VFF with Decision No. 569/QD-LĐBĐVN dated August 19, 2024, players who violate doping test regulations; players who intentionally do not perform or do not cooperate in performing; players whose test samples detect drugs or addictive substances will be handled for violations and managed according to the provisions of the Law on Drug Prevention; and will also be subject to additional disciplinary action according to the VFF's Disciplinary Decision.

All doping tests and additional health checks are conducted in accordance with FIFA regulations, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) standards, and relevant Vietnamese laws regarding anti-doping in sports activities, as well as regulations concerning health checks for athletes and anti-drug measures.
To ensure objectivity and transparency, the testing plan will only be announced to clubs 1-2 days before the match, with player selection for testing being conducted through a random draw based on the registered player list. Information about the players being tested will not be made public. Each club will randomly select two players for testing. The entire testing process will be carried out in a manner that does not disrupt the training and competition of the teams. Players who violate, intentionally do not perform or do not cooperate, and have samples tested for drugs or addictive substances will be handled, managed and disciplined according to VFF regulations.
