On the first day of finals, October 12, the female fighters excelled, winning six golds, including: Bui Thi Yen Nhi (48kg, women’s low kick), Phạm Huynh Yen My (60kg, women’s low kick), Dinh Thi Hoa (65kg, women’s low kick), Le Thi Nhi (52kg, women’s full contact), Nguyen Ngoc Ngan (56kg, women’s full contact), and Tran Vo Song Thuong (60kg, women’s full contact).
On October 13, the Vietnamese fighters continued to shine, earning five more golds from: Huynh Thi Kim Vang (65kg women’s full contact), Nguyen Minh Hieu (69kg men’s kick light), Hoang Thi Thuy Giang (50kg women’s kick light), Huynh Van Tuan (54kg men’s K1-style), and Phung Thi Hong Tham (65kg women’s kick light).
The championship provided a valuable opportunity for athletes from countries and territories with strong kickboxing movements in Asia to exchange and learn from each other, further enhancing their skills.
At the end of the 2024 Asian Kickboxing Championships, Uzbekistan dominated the competition, taking the top spot, while Kazakhstan secured second place.
