Thuy Linh is currently in Vietnam training in preparation for competing in European tournaments this October. In the same women’s ranking, player Vu Thi Anh Thu is the next highest-ranked Vietnamese athlete after Thuy Linh, currently standing at 122nd in the world for women’s singles.
In the men’s singles category, Nguyen Hai Dang has maintained his 73rd position in the world men’s singles rankings. However, the highest-ranked Vietnamese player in men’s singles is Le Duc Phat, who is ranked 61st.
The primary goal for Duc Phat and Hai Dang is to break into the top 50 in the world men's singles rankings. In November and December of 2024, both Hai Dang and Duc Phat will participate in several international tournaments to earn more individual ranking points.
