In the Southeast asian championship events, Vietnamese pairs demonstrated clear superiority. The duo of Phan Hien and Thu Huong emerged as the standout performers, capturing three gold medals in the Latin category. Their achievement once again confirmed their consistency and top-level expertise on the regional stage.

In the Standard discipline, Anh Minh and Truong Xuan delivered an impressive performance, claiming two gold medals in the Waltz and Slow Foxtrot, along with a silver medal in the overall category. Quoc Bao and Minh Chau added another gold medal in the Viennese Waltz, strengthening Vietnam’s leading position. Meanwhile, Trung Thuc and Ngoc Anh contributed two valuable silver medals, further boosting the team’s tally.
Other pairs also made important contributions. Ngoc An and To Uyen earned two silver medals and one bronze, while Nam Anh and Phuong Anh secured an additional silver medal. The collective efforts across both Latin and Standard events created a dominant overall performance for the Vietnamese team.
Beyond the regional championship events, Vietnamese athletes also competed in the WDSF International Open category, facing strong pairs from outside Southeast Asia. Several Vietnamese couples achieved high placements, highlighting the team’s growing competitiveness at the international level.
