Vietnam wins 3 gold medals at 2026 Aerobic Gymnastics World Cup

The Vietnamese aerobic gymnastics team made an impressive start to the 2026 international season by securing a total of six medals, including three golds, two silvers and one bronze, at the Suzuki World Cup 2026 held in Tokyo, Japan.

In the 12–14 age group, Ta Ngoc Cat Tuong delivered an outstanding performance to win the gold medal in the women’s individual event with a score of 17.349, surpassing strong competitors from Japan, Chinese Taipei and Spain. She then teamed up with Tran Anh Thinh and Nguyen Ngoc Gia Thuong to claim another gold medal in the trio event with 17.566 points.

The third gold medal went to the mixed pair of Le Nhat Minh Khoi and Vu Hong Ngoc in the 15–17 age category, scoring 17.833 points in the final. Minh Khoi also earned a silver medal in the boys’ individual event, while the trio of Minh Khoi, Nguyen Ngoc Tram Anh and Vu Hong Ngoc added another silver. In the senior category, Hoang Gia Bao, Nguyen Che Thanh and Phan Thi Uyen Nhi secured a bronze medal in the trio event.

As the first international tournament of the year for Vietnam’s aerobic gymnastics team, the results in Tokyo highlighted the squad’s steady technical progress and depth, providing strong momentum for major competitions ahead in 2026.
