Deputy Director Le Thi Hoang Yen represented the delegation.

Following that, Mr. Zhixing Xue gave a basic overview of the development of the sport of Flying Disc. According to Mr. Zhixing Xue, the sport has many youth competitions held annually at the regional, Asian, and world levels. Currently, the sport is present in over 30 countries and territories, mainly concentrated in East Asia, South Asia, and Central Asia. At the 33rd SEA Games in 2025, held in Thailand, six countries participated in demonstrations. In the future, the Federation hopes to promote the inclusion of the sport in the world's largest sporting event - the Olympic Games.

Specifically regarding Southeast Asia, Mr. Zhixing Xue stated that the sport is showing strong development in this region. Currently, Malaysia is the first country in the region to develop this sport, and the Federation hopes to have a presence and develop it in Vietnam in the near future to discover young talents.

Mr. Zhixing Xue also hopes to cooperate to develop it more extensively in schools. “Flying Disc is quite suitable for young people and is especially gender-neutral. It is also a very safe sport, does not cause injuries, and is particularly suitable for students. With Vietnam, we are ready to support the conditions you need to develop,” Mr. Zhixing Xue further emphasized.

The two sides took a commemorative photo.

On the Vietnamese side, Mr. Le Van Thang, head of Flying Disc of Hanoi Recreational Sports Association, said that Hanoi has already piloted the sport in schools and has organized amateur tournaments. He added that for the sport to expand and develop in Vietnam, the cooperation of many parties is needed.

After hearing the Federation's representative, Deputy Director Le Thi Hoang Yen stated: This sport has been introduced into many schools in Vietnam for the past 10 years, and the movement is developing. The sports sector always supports and will create the necessary conditions for this sport to develop according to a specific roadmap.

Initially, this sport can be implemented under the management and supervision of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and the Entertainment Recreational Association to facilitate participation in international competitions. The Department of Sports for Everyone (Vietnam Sports Department), the International Cooperation unit, and the Hanoi Recreational Sports Association will coordinate to create the best conditions for the development of the movement and participation in international competitions. In particular, the other party has also affirmed its readiness to send coaches to help Vietnam develop the sport, as well as create all conditions for Vietnam to participate in international sporting events that include this sport.
