The visit and working session of the Ministry leaders aimed to inspect the training of the national teams preparing to participate in the 33rd SEA Games at the National High-Performance Athlete Training Centre. This not only assesses progress and updates the latest information on training but also serves as an opportunity for leaders of the Ministry and industry to share and encourage the coaching staff, athletes, and coaching teams of the teams listed to participate in the 33rd SEA Games.

During the working session, the Deputy Minister and the delegation visited the 9 national teams participating in this SEA Games who are currently training at the Centre, including: Pencak Silat, Sepak Takraw, Shooting, Archery, Gymnastics, Judo, Karate, Wrestling, and Athletics.
At each training location, the Deputy Minister and members of the delegation warmly visited and encouraged the athletes and coaching staff. After listening to the teams share about their training situations, thoughts, aspirations, goals, and performance targets, the Deputy Minister directed the coaching staff, athletes, and coaches of the national teams to continue training with the highest determination, uniting to achieve the set goals and targets...
Regarding the National High-Performance Athlete Training Centre, the Deputy Minister suggested: the center's leadership must closely monitor the teams to provide timely support for the most necessary conditions and ensure a safe training environment.
When asked about the situation of each athlete through their direct coaches, the Deputy Minister stated: "The coaching staff and coaches need to pay special attention to the health of each athlete, closely monitor their thoughts, aspirations, and psychology to provide the best possible support; and minimise unfortunate injuries before the team departs..."

Regarding professional work, the Deputy Minister suggested: coaches need to have the most suitable training plans for this final stage; consider the list of opponents to select appropriate athletes and compete for good results in each event.
The Deputy Minister also paid special attention to the training of young people to prepare them to be the next generation of leaders, following in the footsteps of their predecessors. The SEA Games are the immediate goal, but looking further ahead to the ASIAD and Olympic arenas, the Deputy Minister emphasised: Young athletes need to be closely monitored, selected, and prepared to participate in international tournaments to gain experience and exposure...
Party and State leaders, as well as Ministry leaders, have high expectations for the athletes' performance at this SEA Games. Therefore, the Deputy Minister hopes that the teams will work together to train hard to achieve the best physical fitness and technique, maximise their abilities, and bring the highest achievements to Vietnamese sports.
According to the report from the coaching staff of the national teams, the athletes are currently training with a serious and disciplined spirit, determined to achieve the best results. Grateful for the care, concern, and guidance of the Deputy Minister, the entire team of athletes, coaches, and experts present at today's training expressed their strong determination and utmost efforts to prepare best for the upcoming SEA Games.

The coaching staff representative also acknowledged the sharing and support from the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Sports Authority, and the close attention from the center's leadership over the past time. The conditions regarding facilities and training equipment have all been provided and newly purchased to the best of our ability, which has helped the teams' training go smoothly. In particular, the timely attention and support provided in all aspects are a great source of moral encouragement, helping the teams become even more determined to train and achieve the highest results for Vietnamese sports.
