Gold medalists include Dao Hong Son, Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc, Vu Thi Anh Thu, and Phung Thi Hue. Notably, Dao Hong Son won two gold medals in the men’s 56kg contact and contact HIF categories.
According to the coaching staff, the championship was an important opportunity for Vietnamese athletes to gain valuable international experience and further improve their competitive skills in preparation for the 33rd SEA Games in 2025.
On the final results table, the Kazakhstan team is in first place with 11 gold medals, 16 silver medals and 13 bronze medals. The host team Thailand ranked 6th with 6 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 9 bronze medals.
After the championship, Vietnamese athletes will enter the competition for the youth championship of the 2025 World Championship, which will be competed until November 15.
