Vietnam wons 29 gold medals at the Southeast Asian Shooting Championship

With a total of 56 medals, including 29 golds, 17 silvers, and 9 bronzes, the Vietnamese shooting team shot to the top of the medal table at the Southeast Asian Shooting Championship 2025, which concluded in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 14, underlining the country’s dominance in the sport.

The tournament served as a valuable opportunity for athletes to sharpen their skills and gain international experience ahead of the 33rd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 33), scheduled to take place later this year in Thailand.

Vietnam sent 44 shooters to compete in both men’s and women’s events across rifle and pistol disciplines, including youth and senior categories.

Hosts Thailand finished second with 15 gold, 18 silver, and 16 bronze medals, followed by Indonesia with 11 gold, 14 silver, and 5 bronze medals. Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines completed the standings.
