Vietnam wons six golds at the 2025 Asian Rowing Championships

The 2025 Asian Rowing Championships concluded after four days of exciting competition, from October 16 to 19.

The Vietnamese Rowing team competed excellently, winning a total of 6 golds, 1 silver and 2 bronzes, affirming the increasingly solid position of Vietnamese Rowing in the regional arena. This year's tournament brings together 678 members from 18 Asian countries and territories.

The 2025 Asian Rowing Championship is organized by the Vietnam Sports Administration and the Vietnam Canoeing, Rowing & Sailing Federation, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports of Hai Phong City, under the authorization of the Asian Rowing Federation and the permission of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Hai Phong City. 

Hosting the championship was both an honor and a source of pride for Hai Phong City, showcasing Vietnam’s capability and sense of responsibility in international sports integration. The event also served to promote the image of a dynamic, hospitable, and forward-looking Vietnam ready to host major continental competitions.

In addition to the races, the Organizing Committee also organizes many sideline activities such as sightseeing tours, cultural and culinary experiences in Hai Phong for athletes and international guests. These activities contribute to promoting the image of a friendly and unique Vietnam, while spreading the spirit of solidarity, friendship and cooperation among countries in the region.

The 2025 Asian Rowing Championships ended successfully, marking a new step forward for Vietnamese sports in organizing and competing internationally.
