Currently, in Southeast Asia, this sport is being widely developed, so Ms. Ada Milby highly appreciated the strong development potential of Rugby in Vietnam. According to her, in order for this sport to affirm its position on the world map, there needs to be a long-term strategy, starting with building and developing the movement right now.
One of the proposed solutions is to include Rugby in the training program at schools (first of all, international schools), along with projects integrating knowledge and skills. This approach not only helps spread the movement but is also an opportunity to discover potential factors.
Sharing about the current situation of this sport in Vietnam, Deputy Director Le Thi Hoang Yen said: currently in Vietnam, Rugby is practiced more by women. Practicing this sport helps them overcome all barriers to integration. This is also proof that rugby is not only a sport but also a positive tool to change society and improve the status of women. Especially changing awareness, overcoming psychological barriers, living conditions to come to sports, especially practicing and playing Rugby.

In order for this sport to develop strongly in the future and comply with Vietnam's regulations, Deputy Director Le Thi Hoang Yen said that she will assign the specialized department to research and consider building a suitable roadmap.
