Vietnam secure one gold, two silvers at Asian Junior Karate Championships

Vietnam concluded the 2025 Asian Junior Karate Championships in Hangzhou with one gold and two silver medals.

Tran Thi Cam Tu delivered the team’s standout performance, winning gold in the girls’ under-59kg category (ages 16–17) with a commanding display against strong regional opponents.

Huynh Kim Tien earned silver in the girls’ over-59kg category, while Nguyen Thuy Linh added another silver in the girls’ under-54kg cadet division (ages 14–15).

The championships, held at Linping Sports Center in Hangzhou, brought together more than 55 teams from 14 countries and territories, competing across 54 events in various age groups. The tournament also served as a platform for young athletes to gain experience and build connections at continental level.
