In the men's team event, Vietnam defeated China 2-0 in the final to claim the gold medal. In the women's team event, the Vietnamese team also beat China 2-0 in the final to secure another gold.

Vietnamese national team competed with its best athletes, including: Chí Đức, Quế Lộc, Hiếu Thuận, Ngọc Hải, Phước Sang, Thành Cương, Gia Cơ, Như Hùng, Thanh Ngân, Hoàng Oanh, Lan Nhi, Thục Phương, Nguyễn Thị Lan, Mỹ Ngọc, Ngọc Vân, Tuyết Trinh, Phương Liên, Hoàng Hiệp, Xuân Huy, Hữu Lộc, Mỹ Tiên, Kiều Thị Huyền, Quỳnh Liên, Ngọc Hòa, and Lan Phương.
In 2025, shuttlecock kicking is not included in the official sports lineup at the 33rd SEA Games. Therefore, following the World Championship, the Vietnamese shuttlecock team will continue training in preparation for the 2025 Asian Championship, which will take place in Hong Kong (China) this June.
