The ranking was published by UCI on February 25th. For the female road cyclist rankings, Nguyen Thị That stands at 129th. She is the only Vietnamese female cyclist listed in the rankings. Nguyen Thi That dropped 4 places compared to her previous position.
In 2025, Nguyen Thi That temporarily suspended plans to return to the Roland Cycling team in Switzerland in order to focus on other professional goals. She is a key athlete for the Vietnamese women's cycling team, which recently competed in the 2025 Asian Road Championships in Thailand. After competing and winning a silver medal at this event, Nguyen Thi That had her accumulated points updated by UCI (adding 200 points to her personal score).
In March, Nguyen Thi That will continue with the Vietnam cycling team at the 2025 Tour of Thailand, and if she performs well, she will earn more personal points. In 2024, she participated in the Tour of Thailand, and her results contributed additional points to her ranking.
In December, Nguyen Thi That will head to Thailand again to compete in the 33rd SEA Games 2025 with the national road cycling team.
