Despite losing twice to Vietnam, the Kazakhstan Women's Volleyball Team still holds the 4th position in Asia, with a slight edge of 0.16 points over Vietnam.
There are only 14 teams in Asia with points in the world volleyball ranking. The lowest-ranked team is Hong Kong (China), with only 36.18 points, which is about one-tenth of the points held by China, the number 1 team in Asia.

In the men’s Asian volleyball ranking, the Vietnam men’s team is ranked 10th with 58.91 points.
With an impressive performance in 2024, Japan's men's team is currently the number 1 team in Asia, ranking 6th in the world, and the only Asian representative in the World Top 10.
Iran holds the 2nd position in Asia, currently ranked 15th in the world, with a significant points gap behind Japan. Qatar is ranked 3rd in Asia, just above China in 4th place. South Korea's men’s volleyball team has been steadily declining, holding the 5th position in Asia.
The highest-ranked Southeast Asian team in the Men’s Asian Volleyball Ranking is Indonesia, ranked 9th in Asia and 51st in the world, with 59.29 points.
Vietnam’s men’s volleyball team follows closely behind, ranked 10th in Asia and 52nd in the world, with 58.91 points, trailing Indonesia by just one spot in both the World and Asian rankings.
If Vietnam performs well in the 2025 AVC Challenge Cup, the team could potentially surpass Indonesia and become the number 1 men's volleyball team in Southeast Asia.
