However, the reality at this tournament shows that the gap between Pencak Silat athletes in the world tournament is gradually narrowing. Therefore, Vietnam's Pencak Silat needs to be careful to prepare better professionally in the next tournaments.
In the near future, to best prepare for the 33rd SEA Games in 2025, many important faces of the team competing at this world tournament will also be core players. Based on the competition contents announced by host Thailand along with the results of the 2024 World Championship, the Coaching Board will plan professional preparation to select suitable people to participate in the 33rd SEA Games-2025.
The World Championship is organized by the International Pencak Silat Federation in coordination with the General Department of Sports and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council from December 19-22 with the participation of over 1,200 athletes and coaches from 55 countries. Athletes compete in the contents, including: Boxing, performance and combat, in age groups from 12 to 46 years old.
