Despite moments of effective blocking from their opponents, the Vietnamese team maintained stability to take set 1 at 25-22.
Moving into set 2, the Vietnamese team continued to control the game with varied attacking options. Thanh Thuy and her teammates maintained a safe margin and closed out the set with a score of 25-15.
In set 3, Hong Kong (China) continued their efforts to stay in the game and sought opportunities to narrow the gap. However, the Vietnamese team promptly regained control, executed effective attacks, and widened the lead. Ultimately, Vietnam secured a 25-16 win.
With the 3-0 victory, the Vietnam women's volleyball team completed two consecutive wins in Pool D, both by a 3-0 scoreline, securing a certain place in the ASIAD 20 quarterfinals.
In the final match of Pool D, the Vietnamese team will play the decisive match for the top spot in the group.
