In the women's 48kg category, martial artist Phung Thi Hue continued to display strong form by claiming the championship title. The Vietnamese fighter successively defeated Thai opponents Suaysaart Parichaya and Tantivat Pimlaphat to secure the overall top position.
Additionally, Vietnamese Jujitsu captured titles in the women's 57kg category with fighter Tran Hong An and the men's 85kg category with Nguyen Tien Trien.
On the final medal tally, host nation Thailand took first place with 17 gold, 23 silver, and 23 bronze medals. The Vietnamese Jujitsu team finished second, while the Philippines placed third with 6 gold, 5 silver, and 7 bronze medals.
At this tournament, the Vietnamese Jujitsu Team facilitated opportunities for several key fighters preparing for the 20th Asian Games (ASIAD 20) to compete, thereby gaining match experience and refining their techniques.
Following the 2026 Asian Grand Prix, the Vietnamese Jujitsu Team returns home to resume training at the National High-Performance Athlete Training Center before departing for Japan in mid-September.
