Not stopping there, with tournaments held in many countries, the DP World Tour helps promote and develop golf beyond traditional markets, reaching new cultures and communities.

Taking the DP World Tour 2025 as a specific example, CEO Zi Zhe pointed out that the season is expected to feature 42 tournaments held in 26 countries across 5 continents, with a total prize value of up to 153 million USD. CEO Zi Zhe also emphasised: The DP World Tour is making significant strides in bringing international-level tournaments to Vietnam, promising to strongly boost the development of golf tourism here. To realise the aforementioned goal, experts from the DP World Tour 2026 will visit Vietnam to understand and survey the capabilities of the Vietnamese golf industry, and inspect golf courses capable of hosting international golf events in Vietnam.

Along with that, they will gain a better understanding of the opportunities to promote the golf industry and Vietnam's culture and tourism, as well as the logistical services during the DP World Tour 2026. Therefore, during the working session at the Sports Authority, CEO Zi Zhe hopes to receive support and facilitation from the leadership of the Sports Authority and the Vietnam Golf Association so that the organising unit can better understand the opportunity to collaborate on hosting the DP World Tour 2026 in Vietnam.

On behalf of SAV, Deputy Director Le Thi Hoang Yen expressed gratitude to CEO Zi Zhe and the delegation of experts from Fuqi Cultural and Sports Co., Ltd., Shanghai, China, for their visit and work The Deputy Director emphasised: Organising the DP World Tour 2026 in Vietnam will bring significant benefits not only to the sport of Golf but also to the tourism industry. If Vietnam is chosen as the destination for the DP World Tour 2026, it will be the clearest proof of the host country's organisational capabilities.

Furthermore, if the DP World Tour 2026 is held in Vietnam, it could open up many strategic collaboration opportunities with top global golf organisations, helping Vietnam access advanced technology, training, and organisational experience. Vietnamese golfers, especially young talents, will have the opportunity to compete with the world's top golfers right at home. This is an incredibly valuable experience to enhance skills, experience, and competitive spirit. This event could also serve as an impetus to develop professional training programs like the "Global Amateur Pathway," which has been jointly implemented by the DP World Tour and PGA Tour, helping Vietnamese amateur golfers have a clearer path to becoming professional golfers. On this occasion, Deputy Director Le Thi Hoang Yen also suggested that the divisiob and the Vietnam Golf Association closely coordinate with the expert delegation from the organising unit during the survey process to achieve the highest efficiency and aim towards bringing the DP World Tour 2026 to Vietnam.
