Accordingly, the Vietnamese Aerobic gymnastics team will participate in the trio and group categories. The spot in the group event was earned thanks to a silver medal at the 2024 World Aerobic Gymnastics Championships.
Historically, Vietnam previously took part in the World Games in 2013 in Poland, where the national team won a gold medal. Therefore, heading into the 2025 World Games, the Vietnamese athletes are being counted on to win more medals at this major event.
Previously, Vietnam had already secured World Games 2025 slots in other sports, including Wushu (women's 52kg, 62kg; men's 56kg, 70kg), women's beach handball, Ju-jitsu, Muay, Billiards and Kickboxing.
The World Games 2025 is a multi-sport event for disciplines that are not part of the official Olympic program. It is a competition that brings together athletes with high professional standards and world-class performance.
The event is expected to gather 1,000 athletes, including 400 competing in host-proposed sports, 400 in Olympic disciplines, and 200 athletes with disabilities.
