Participating in the US-ABC delegation are representatives from the US Embassy in Viet Nam and representatives from the following companies: 3M, Abbott, Access Partnership, Amazon, Apple Inc. , Bay Global Strategies, Boeing, Bower Group Asia, Brunswick Group, Citibank, Clear One, Coca Cola, Corteva Agriscience, Google, Koch Inc. LFA Consulting Inc., Mariott International, Mastercard, Medtronic, Meta, Mondelez, Procter and Gamble Viet Nam, Salesforce, Suntory Pepsico, the Asia Group, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Tileke & Gibbins, UPS, Visa, Vriens & Partners, Warburg Pincus, Warner Bros. The event is expected to open unprecedented spaces for cooperation in promising fields such as cultural industries, sports economy, and sustainable tourism.

At the beginning of the working session, Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong affirmed: Viet Nam always values the role of US-ABC in connecting the American business community with the Vietnamese Government. The achievements made in recent times, especially the maintenance of the United States' position among the top five markets sending tourists to Viet Nam, are clear evidence of this connection. The presence of renowned hotel management groups such as Marriott and Hilton has directly elevated the standards of domestic tourism services, while major media corporations like Netflix and Warner Bros Discovery have brought opportunities to promote the country's image thru international-scale film projects.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that Viet Nam is not only a culturally rich tourist destination but also a market full of potential for large-scale cultural and sports projects. The Deputy Minister expressed confidence that with the support of US-ABC and the American business community, the ideas for cooperation and the exchanges discussed today will soon become a reality.

On behalf of the US-ASEAN Business Council delegation, Mr. Brian McFeeters thanked the Deputy Minister for taking the time to welcome the delegation. Mr. Brian McFeeters stated that the presence of over 120 senior leaders from 52 leading U.S. corporations in this year's delegation is the strongest affirmation of the deep interest and confidence of the U.S. private sector in Viet Nam's development potential.

"In today's discussion, the US-ASEAN Business Council hopes to engage in an open dialog about ways to promote digital transformation and innovation across the industry, thereby enhancing the quality of human resources and competitiveness for Viet Nam's culture and sports." US-ABC highly appreciates the Ministry's openness in always being ready to listen to recommendations to resolve the obstacles faced by international investors. "We believe that thru continuous dialog, both sides will together build a transparent and stable investment environment, paving the way for groundbreaking public-private partnership projects in infrastructure and services," Mr. Brian McFeeters expressed.

Within the framework of the working session, the dialog delved into new and urgent professional issues, particularly in the fields of sports and biomedical sciences. Representatives from Thermo Fisher Scientific made important proposals regarding the enhancement of anti-doping and sports medicine analytical capabilities. This is a direction that completely aligns with Viet Nam's commitment to the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

The application of high-sensitivity analytical processes and data integrity control is key to building an integrity-based sports foundation. Along with that, modernizing the analytical infrastructure for the Viet Nam Anti-Doping Center will help ensure transparency in all results, building strong trust in the professional competition environment.

Continuing the spirit of innovation, Lubrizol's involvement with material science solutions has opened a new direction for the sports apparel manufacturing industry. With its strength as a pioneer in TPU technology, Lubrizol not only supports domestic enterprises in accessing advanced technology but also contributes to positioning Viet Nam as a global hub for sports equipment manufacturing. The combination of material science and training practices is expected to optimize the performance of national athletes while minimizing the risk of injuries during high-intensity competitions.

Adding further insights into this field, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Sports Authority, Le Thi Hoang Yen, emphasized the importance of education and communication efforts. According to her, managing athletes at national training centers requires a comprehensive and regular training strategy on anti-Doping knowledge. In addition, with around 30 - 40% of the population participating in sports activities, the Vietnamese market possesses potential for nutritional supplement products. Long-term partners like Herbalife can continue to play an important role in spreading awareness about proper nutrition, helping the public and athletes improve their physical health scientifically.

In conclusion of the working session, Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong highly appreciated the substantial and constructive contributions from American businesses. The Deputy Minister believes that Viet Nam is not only a destination rich in cultural identity but also a dynamic market for large-scale sports and cultural projects. To turn the ideas exchanged in today's meeting into reality, the Deputy Minister suggested that specialized units hold separate working sessions with each enterprise to discuss the cooperation roadmap in detail. The close collaboration between the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and US-ABC will serve as a foundation for creating a professional and modern ecosystem in sports, culture, and tourism, positively contributing to Viet Nam's economic growth and international integration.

Mr. Brian McFeeters emphasized that the discussions have helped US-ABC better understand Viet Nam's direction and expectations for the American business community; he also expressed hope that this spirit of dialog will continue and that American companies will have more opportunities to engage in deeper discussions with the Ministry's units on specific topics of mutual interest.

The corporations in the US-ABC delegation are always ready to bring to Viet Nam world-class technology, abundant capital, and a team of experienced experts, along with a commitment to establishing long-term partnerships to support Viet Nam on its journey to becoming a prosperous nation.
