Sir Craig praises China's anti-doping effort

Chairman Craig is the key speaker at the International Anti-Doping Symposium organized by the Chinese Anti-Doping Agency during the fourth visit and inspection of the International Olympic Committee for the Olympic Committee and Paralympic 2022.

Xue Yinxian, former physician of the Chinese National Olympic team, said there are 10,000 athletes of football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, badminton, track and field, swimming, diving, fitness. tools and weightlifters participate in mandatory programs on anti-doping.

Sir Craig, said the symposium was attended by 78 delegates from 33 countries. President Sir Craig points out that the Beijing 2022 Organizing Committee has the advantage that many people are willing to support, have the advantage of political leaders who have a strong and important anti-doping philosophy. Beijing 2022 wants clean medals and healthy athletes. It is also the message sent to all athletes to avoid violating prohibited substances.

In the 30 years since the announcement of the anti-doping program, China has conducted 165 athletes testing each year and by 2018 there are 19,000 athletes being tested for doping. Chairman Sir Craig stressed that the host organization will achieve better results in anti-doping processes through organizing large events.
